I am staying in Canada and my wife and kids are in tamilNadu,India. I am planning to bring them here. Due to some passport problem, i need to get Marriage certificate Attestation from IME Office Chennai.Just want to know how many days it will take for marriage certificate attestation from IME Office,, what are the procedures..how much it cost and what are all the documents i need to provide..Thanks

i need to attest my marriage certificate attested by the home department in karnataka. it is already attested by HRD of maharashtra, MEA & UAE embassy. for endorsement of my wife’s name in the passport, they need attestation by home dept section officer in karnataka, b’coz my marriage was registered in bangalore. my new passport was issued at passport office, abu dhabi. do you do this procedure? if so what’s the fees? do you’ve branches in abu dhabi, as am currently residing in abu dhabi. kindly reply.

Hi,

My marriage was on April-2007 and the marriage certificate was issued by the Jama-Ath authorities. I have not registered my marriage with Panchayath and thus I don’t have Panchayath’s certificate for marriage.

Now for bringing my wife to Muscat, I need my marriage certificate attested by General Attestation Dept.Kerala. Can you pls advise me whether GAD will attest my Jama-Ath certificate or should I obtain a Panchayath Certificate?
What are the procedure and documents required for marriage certificate attestation?

sadath: I am working at Dubai and I want to call my wife to dubai so that she can stay with me, but the problem is that i dnt have Marrage certificate, can I Make Annexure D issued and attested from Notary and use it for the same purpose and will Annexure D be accepted by UAE Embessy for this purpose.
